This is a lone-working role where you'll play an important part in maintaining a calm and reassuring environment. During the night, you'll support with personal care needs, including assisting with bedtime and morning routines, monitoring wellbeing, and providing discreet support with continence care and toileting when required. You'll also help maintain her established routines, which are important in helping her feel secure and rested.
There may be quieter periods where you'll complete household tasks, ensure the home remains clean and welcoming, and update records. At other times, you'll provide reassurance if she wakes during the night, support her to settle, and respond to any needs that arise.
