We are looking for a caring support worker to work 1-2 nights per week at our service in Baltonsborough supporting adults with learning disabilities through the night.

We are a supported living service in Baltonsborough supporting 5 people with learning disabilities. The people who live here are of varying abilities but all enjoy going out for activities, shopping, cooking, and living their own version of their best life!

You would be supporting these individuals with varying aspects of their lives including personal care, cooking, finances, cleaning, shopping, going out on walks, attending activities such as swimming, disco’s, to the theatre, to watch concerts etc. whilst maintaining close contact with family members and friends.

We believe that Support Workers get out of their jobs what they put in- our aim is to support people to live their lives to the fullest.

Ability to drive is preferable due to its rural location, though this is not a requirement for the role.

Key Tasks:

  • Use assistive technology to alert any support required
  • Provide personal care.
  • Conduct housework, including cleaning and laundry.
  • You will keep written records, using IT systems to record daily notes, and be confident using our system’s to record incidents
  • Ensure the premises is secure and safe during the night
