We’re all here to make a positive difference to people with learning disabilities and/or autism in Somerset. Here at Discovery we are looking for dedicated individuals to join us in Yeovil as part of our friendly and welcoming team.

The kind of person we are looking for is someone that has an enthusiasm to make other people’s lives rewarding, has a passion for progression and an ability to adapt when things don’t quite go to plan. Previous experience is not necessary, ability to drive would be ideal however if you can’t and are willing to learn you can take advantage of Discovery’s learn to drive scheme. Other tasks will include supporting people with personal care, eating and drinking, medication, record keeping and other daily tasks.

J – Lives on her own and enjoys spending time with her staff team engaging in therapeutic activities and sensory engagement, also likes to access the community and people watching. J benefits from someone with a positive outgoing and engaging person who looks to actively engage in every day skills.

We are looking for Full-time, Part-time and relief workers.
