Are you looking for a job where you can make a real difference in your local community? Discovery is currently seeking Support Workers to empower the independence of 5 individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism in their homes in Yeovil.

Discovery Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health Care Assistant or Social Care roles as full training is given.

We are able to offer Full and Part Time roles.

We support 5 gentlemen with autism and learning disabilities, each person we support here lives in their own flat and benefit from proactive and active support for everyday tasks.

Activities Support Workers may be involved with include:

  • Going for walks
  • Trips to the pub
  • Visits to the seaside
  • Going for a drive
  • Listening to rock music with one of the gentlemen we support
  • Swimming
  • Watching TV shows and movies
  • Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include – but not be limited to – finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
