Key Tasks:

  • Support with shopping for things they wish to buy, including clothes and food.
  • Support to manage their own money
  • Help, encourage, support to do their housework, including cleaning and laundry
  • Support with medication
  • Keep written records, using IT systems to update support plans, financial info and health and safety records?

About the role:

As a Support Worker you will be supporting people in a Respite Service, offering short breaks for up to 8 people with learning disabilities and their families at a time. This means that you will be working with a broad variety of people with different likes and interests, and different needs as well. This can change on an almost daily basis, which will give you a great opportunity to learn and develop regularly.
